Q: How much is this going to cost?

Q: How much is this going to cost?

A: It is impossible to answer this question without first troubleshooting your equipment. Once we get on-site and evaluate the problem, we provide options to get you up and running as soon as possible. No work is performed without your approval.

Q: How long will this take?

A: We have no idea what is going on until our trained and experienced technicians are on site. At that time, you will be given all of the information that you need to help us get your life back to normal.

Q: It's 3:00 a.m. and Christmas Eve. How can I afford this?

A: Most of the time, our technicians are leaving their loved ones to take that late night call. Without them, Any Hour would be just another goofy website. Any call before 7:00 a.m. or after 5:00 p.m. requires a $50 after-hours charge that goes directly to the technician. All other charges are standard.

Q: Will they know how to fix my brand of equipment?

A: It's true that some brands and models are quite different. Our technicians have seen them all. If you have specific requirements or are concerned, feel free to express this at the time of your call. We will make sure that the technician who is on-site is fully prepared to solve your problem. We never send under-qualified personnel.

Q: I need new equipment. How much is an estimate?

A: New equipment estimates are generally free. Sometimes information gathering and design fees apply. Some projects just take too many resources to provide estimates for free. We will never begin billable work without prior approval.

Q: Why is the new furnace smaller than the old one?

A: There are many reasons why you may have been quoted for a smaller system. Our estimates are always backed by a Manual J heat load calculation, which takes your entire home or office into account. Our staff can explain this in as much detail as you desire. There is a lot of information online about this as well.

Q: What if my problem isn't solved?

A: Any Hour stands behind everything that we do. Every repair or replacement that we perform is backed by our guarantee and a solid warranty. Even we can make mistakes, though. We stand behind those, too, and resolve them quickly.

Q: What kind of warranty can I expect?

A: All repairs are backed by our one-year parts and labor warranty on all new parts (unless otherwise stated). All new equipment stands on a solid minimum five-year parts and labor warranty, and it just gets better from there. Ask about our warranty and maintenance plans for full details.
